Well, it’s been a minute since I’ve been on here, hasn’t it? I think we’re all a bit shell-shocked after the last couple of years with COVID19 hanging over us.

I’ve had a lot on my plate over the last while, I lost my Stepdad to Covid in June 2020. I adored that man, a Manhattanite, a legend, the love of my Mum’s life. COVID gave him a heart condition and his poor body wasn’t able for it. Mum then had a long and drawn out moving home process from the US. Two days before that, we lost my Father in Law to Oesophageal Cancer.

That September, I had Christopher, my Baby Boy via emergency C-Section after developing a rare & potentially fatal complication – H.E.L.L.P Syndrome and spent a couple of days in the High Dependancy Unit. As if being diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes wasn’t enough, that was down to my PCOS.

So, enough of being a dump truck. I’m here, life is wonderful again, we survived COVID (three times), society is opening up again and I’m 7 months pregnant with a little girl!

I feel I have personally changed a lot, I don’t want to get rid of my blog but I do look at some of the posts and grimace, thinking “WHAT where you thinking, Sarah?!!” I think it’s time to reflect this and go for a little change up. So, you might see a few changes from time to time, change is good! I was a different person when I started this little blog. I am interested in different things, now, I’m older, I’m also a Mother so I don’t get to go to restaurants at night much anymore either, lol!

Please do comment, tell me if there is any topic you’d like continued or saved. The miscarriage post is staying put. I’ve been approached by many media outlets about that as well as many women who reached out, going through the same thing, I feel it may still help people.
